«Mandariinid» jäi Kuldgloobuseta, võitis «Leviaatan»

Juhime tähelepanu, et artikkel on rohkem kui viis aastat vana ning kuulub meie arhiivi. Ajakirjandusväljaanne ei uuenda arhiivide sisu, seega võib olla vajalik tutvuda ka uuemate allikatega.
Los Angeleses jagati pühapäeval 72. korda Hollywoodi Välispressi Ühingu (HFPA) auhindu ehk Kuldgloobuseid. Eesti ja Gruusia koostöös valminud «Mandariinid» kandideeris parima võõrkeelse filmi kategoorias.
Parima võõrkeelse filmi Kuldgloobusele kandideerisid ka «Ida» (Poola), «Leviaatan» (Venemaa), «Vääramatu jõud» (Rootsi) ja «Gett» (Iisrael). Võitjaks kuulutati «Leviaatan».
