Elu24.ee readers got the chance to ask Brittani Taylor, one of the rising stars on Youtube some questions.

Where did you get the idea to start making videos for Youtube?

I was making videos for an independent studio, and they ran out of money. I was already editing/filming/doing everything myself and Youtube was just a logical place to go to!

And where do you get all these great ideas? What inspires you? What do you usually do to get ideas?

LOL I get my ideas in the shower, hiking, talking to friends, watching a movie! I pray a lot, and just think God has a sense of humor and puts crazy thoughts into my head!

How long does it take you to make one video?

Depends on the video! Could be 2 weeks, could be one day! On average thou, 3 days, one day prep/one day film/one to edit.

How to get so famous on Youtube?

I have been making videos on youtube for 3 years, so just hard work! Also my amazing friend Shane Dawson promotes me a lot, so I am blessed.

Do you enjoy being famous?

I don't really see myself as famous. I enjoy interacting with everyone, reading their comments, keeps me grounded cause I am just a normal girl with big dreams.

Where did you get so much confidence? Don't you care about bad comments?

Confidence?  I work at it, you have to believe in yourself before anyone will believe in you. Life is too short to keep focus on what is wrong with you instead of what is right! I don't care about haters, I feel bad for them, because they must be really hurting to want to try to hurt me, ya know?

What career would you like to achieve in later life such as editor, director, actress, producer or a mixture of everything?

I would love to make epic movies, movies that last.  I also see myself having my own production company, and directing. I speak actor, being an actor, so it is fun for me to be behind the camera instead of in front of it sometimes.

How much does Youtube pay you for each video/each month? Or how does this money thing even work?

LOL I make so little it is not worth mentioning. Only the BIG Youtube players make a living, I still have to do odd jobs to pay the bills.

What's the first word that comes to your mind when you hear the word Estonia?

Stone age... weird I know! :P

How did you feel when you heard that somebody from Estonia would like to make an interview with you and be honest... have you ever heard anything about Estonia before?

I know you are near Russia, and that is about it LOL! <3

Are any of the famous Youtubers like you ever gonna come to Estonia?

If you guys want to pool money for a plane ticket, heak yes I will visit haha!

Can you learn some line in Estonian and read it in one of your videos for fun? (Because the pronounciation is hilarious, especially when a foreigner tries.)

LOL I would butcher it, sounds fun!

What's the best advice you've ever received?

It is not what happens to you that matters, but how you react to what happens.

I think you draw really well, have you studied it somewhere?

I just used to draw at home, and draw in art class at school. No classes, just kind of did my own thing!

How do you deal with negative people?

Well I choose usually not to be around them. I surround myself with positive support. Sure, people have bad days, or months, but I don't put up with self pity for long periods of time. So much of the world is starving or has things way worse. If you are alive, not hungry, and have a warm shelter you are pretty darn lucky!

Do you read all your Youtube comments?

I try to read as much as I can! It is hard to keep up these days, LOL I used to answer every comment/message when I first started! But anytime I have free time I am always on my pages reading what you guys write! <3

How does your week/day look like?

Well today I filmed, gonna go edit in a little bit. Filming tomorrow with Shane Dawson, Friday the Fine Brothers, Saturday upload my new video and film edit my Shout Out Sunday, Sunday upload Shout Out Sunday, and monday it starts all over again! :)

Shane tortures you sometimes for fun and sends his trillion fans to write dirty comments under your videos and posts pics with naughty captions on  his Twitter, what do you think of all that?

LOL I think it is hilarious. Shane is the kind of person that no one takes seriously, I like his practical jokes.

How do you handle Shane? I mean he's like the biggest pervert in the world.

HAHA he isn't a pervert, you guys only see him in his videos not in real life, he is a very nice guy!

Don't you want to get back to Shane for all the «horrible» things he has done to you?

No way, I love my friends, Shane is awesome I would never try to intentionally hurt him cause he just jokes with me!

How did you meet Shane? How long have you and Shane been friends?

Met him through Youtube, he had 8,000 subs, I had 12,000 and we started talking about stuff on Youtube. Then him, and Kate, and I meet up and been friends since. About a year ago I think?

Have you ever met Smosh? How are they in real life?

HAHA never met them, but would like to!

Would you go out with Joe Nation?

No way, he is smexi but just a friend. More like a brother LOL!

Are you friends with OlgaKay or KatiesOpinion?

I know OlgaKay and KatiesOpinion and think they are awesome, but we don't hang out or anything.

Who's your current celebrity crush?

Orlando Bloom? It changes a lot LOL!

Do you have a boyfriend?

I am single and ready to mingle!! LOL j/k

What do you like most about making videos?

Making people laugh, when I make you guys happy makes me happy!

Where do you live?

Hollywood, CA yo!

Who is your favorite artist/band? Do you know something about Estonian singer Kerli?

I love Incubus, and I have never heard of Kerli but you bet I am going to go look her up now! :P

Where and when would you like to live? Why?

This may sound funny, but it was always my dream to live in California, so I am living my dream.

If you could be anyone or anything for one day, who/what would you be?

I would be a pampered dog in a rich ladies house, so I could eat and sleep and go for walks haha!

Do you have any sisters or brothers?

One awesome older brorther!

Do you prefer coffee or tea?

Tea FTW!

Which one of your videos was the hardest to make and which one do you like the best?

Britney Spears «3» «I'm Not Easy» parody was pretty rough. Only because of all the props, locations, and actors I had to schedule. But it was worth it! What is my favorite video of mine? Hands down my «Where The Wild Things Are» video! I had so much fun playing Max!!

Which camera/editing software do you use?

I just got a Panasonic GH1, but currently I film with a SonSr11. I also film my vlogs on my handheld camera Panasonic ZS3, and I edit with Final Cut Pro.

What do you really think about emos?

I love Emo style! I would dye my hair and pierce my lip in a second. It is fun to look edgy when really you are a big softie, like me!

If you'd have a chance to travel to one country for free which country would you choose?

I really want to go to England, because I love castles!

What to you think about real friendship/friends?

I think that if you find a good friend, hang on to them! Be a good friend back cause they are rare! :)

Do you have a best friend?

No best friends, but a lot of friends. I am pretty crazy and social, so I make friends easily!

Do you have any pets?

Sadly no pets, I love animals!

Do you have any idols?

I idolize Kate Winslet, Russel Crowe, Kate Blanchett, good good actors!

What's your relationship with cupcakes?

LOL my eyes just light up!! I love those little suckers!

I love your videos and you look always so positive: are you really like this or are you just being hyperactive in your videos?

Nope, pretty positive. I choose to be happy, yes I have bad days but one of my acting teachers told me this «An amateur does well when they feel like it, a professional does well no matter how they feel!»  Kind of my motto, nomatter what I go forward!

What is your aim in life?

Do what I love, make enough money to not have to worry about money. Get married, have kids someday, win an Oscar, the usual! :P

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I would love to be on a hit TV show or making movies. When I am acting in when I am happiest!

For how long will you continue making vids for Youtube?

For as long as youtube exists I will make videos on it. Youtube is basically my life, I can't imagine not creating content!

What do you do in your spare time? (When you are not making videos.)

I love to read, draw, hike, go to movies, hang out with friends, OHH and I love garage sales/junk shopping!

You are so skinny, do you eat anything anytime you want?

No I can't eat anything I want. I am 6' tall, so that helps because if I can 5 pounds you would never know. I have food allergies so I have to eat really good, like organic/whole grains/steamed vegetables/fruits/protein/etc.

What do you think about alcohol? Do you drink sometimes/often or never?

I don't drink, I don't mind people that do as long as they know their limit.

Favorite?? Venetian Princess, WhatTheBuck, ShaneDawsontv, JoeNationtv, ShayCarl, MeekaKitty, etc!

What was the flavour of the ice-cream you last ate?

Ben and Jerrys Cherry Garcia Frozen Yogurt, don't do ice cream cause dairy and me don't mix that well LOL!

Would it be OK if I randomly appeared on your doorstep one day and wanted to hang out with you?

Depends, are you cool? Are you not gonna kill me? Okay sure! :P

Is any of your artwork in any galleries?

I have been in galleries, but I don't like to sell my stuff unless I drew it with the intent of selling it or giving it away. Does that make any sense?

Did your awesomeness come with your extreme beauty?

Pshhaa of course!! Actually, I don't know how to answer that LOL!

How old were you when you did your first video?

I don't say my age, actresses usually don't because they want to be able to play a wide range of roles. How I wear my hair/dress/talk could make me appear older or younger!

What's the most embarassing moment of your life?

I fell flat on my face in 7th grade and skinned half of it. I looked like Joker from Batman for months LOL!

Do you know actress Meryl Streep and what do you think about her?

LOVE THE WOMAN! She is GOD!! :)

Who is your favourite actress/actor?

Kate Winslet, Kate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, etc!

What's your favourite movie?

Gladiator!

What is our favorite thing about yourself? :)

I have a good heart. I care about others, and a respect my body.

Do you believe in ghosts?

HAHAH yes, spooky!

Marry Robert Pattinson, Fudge no one cause I am waiting until marriage, and Kill Justin Bieber cause he is too darn talented!

I am alive, how could I not be happy!

How has being Christian influenced your life? What do you believe in (in terms of religion)?

Well it helps, when things are hard I have God to help me through!

What's your favourite animal?

Horses, I grew up riding, beautiful creatures!

If you are walking on the streets do people recognize you? How many fans do you meet on a daily basis?

I meet people randomly, a lot of people message me or comment me saying they saw me but were too afraid to come up! I am always like WHY I swear I am nice, you should have said hi!

Would you ever date a fan?

Are you tall, male, and normal? They maybe ;)

Do you have any stalkers?

Only online, does that count?? :P

If you had a chance to be in a movie who would you like to have as your costar?

Johnny Depp!! He is such a chameleon!!

What made you want to be an actress?

I just always wanted to be an actress, even before I knew what it was called I was a performer. Acting is like air for me, necessary for my survival!

Do you make videos yourself or is there a producer or something?

Nope, I do most everything myself. I get help sometimes with filming or mixing music tracks, but everyone gets credited in my videos so you know who helped me!

How did you get be so freaking awesome?

HAHA there is this place called Awesome and I visited it and bought some Awesome-ness, totally recommend visiting Awesome if you alren't already dope.

What do you think is the key of succes?

Hard work, no matter what don't quit, stay focused.

Who were you at school - a prankster or a nerd?

Nerd/jock I love sports!

Would you please come to Estonia so I could marry you?
