Juhime tähelepanu, et artikkel on rohkem kui viis aastat vana ning kuulub meie arhiivi. Ajakirjandusväljaanne ei uuenda arhiivide sisu, seega võib olla vajalik tutvuda ka uuemate allikatega.
MTV kuulutas välja 2014. aasta filmiauhindade kandidaadid. «Ameerika afäär» ja «Wall Streeti Hunt» juhivad pingerida kaheksa nominatsiooniga.
Parima meespeaosa Oscari võitnud Matthew McConaughey'ga pistavad rinda Bradley Cooper, Josh Hutcherson, Chiwetel Ejiofor ja Leonardo DiCaprio ning parima naispeaosa kategoorias võistlevad Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams ja Jennifer Aniston.
Auhinnagala toimub 13. aprillil Los Angeleses Nokia kontserdimajas ning seda juhib koomik Conan O'Brien. Hääletus on MTV lehel avatud alates tänasest kuni 12. aprillini. Aasta filmi poolt saab hääletada ka otseülekande ajal.
